This is mine. Never disassembled, was told it was a Rev C, so that's what I listed it as. Either way, I thought it was a good price for a great shape dual rec.

But, what is it exactly? Apparently it isn't a Rev C?
I just sold my three Channel Rev F, so I know it isn't that...

Any opinions?

Welcome to The Board.

IIRC the Rev. C had a small logo, series loop and attached power cable, which it appears your amp has a large logo, parallel loop and IEC power connector. I think Rev's C-F have a series loop, where the Rev. G (last rev of the 2-channels) was parallel, which is the majority of 2-Channel Rectos.

What's the serial # range? I think Rev. D started somewhere around #250-300.

Hopefully one of our Rectifier History Experts will chime in.

What is the serial number!? Anything like 3 - 5XX or so is most likely a Rev C or D. Anything over 8XX is most likely a Rev F up until around 3XXX. Mine is 26XX and a Rev F. If you want to see for SURE what revision it is, you can pull the amp out from the chassis and the revision number will be printed right on the circuit board.

Don't want to get the revision wrong with an Early Dual. You might end up with a furious Ebay customer if you are not careful. The revision is printed next to the big blue filter cabs. Be encouraged though, there is only four big screws that need to be undone to remove the amp from the chassis. It isn't like you are doing any sort of repairs!!

That's a Rev G, has the big logo and detachable power cord. Serial numbers range from 3000 to roughly 16,000 IIRC.

engage757, if I was you I would revise that eBay listing.

I know I would be upset if I thought I bought a Rev C and a Rev G showed up instead, and would then perceive your listing as deceptive.

Just my $0.02

Yup, that looks like 100% rev G.

There's no such thing as a three channel rev F...

Alright, I apparently need to read up on Rectifier Revisions. It was the one before the multi watt. three channel.
