what ever happened to the mark 5

I don't know if this belongs in the modern amps forum or not but I was going through an old guitarist mag UK when Randall Smith was being interviewed on the F-Series and was asked about the mark 5 in which he replied that because the mark 4 was going strong he has postponed desingns. Now after seeing the new product lineup for namm 2006 I got to thinking it's cool that the roadking and and stilleto has been reinvented into a different version but I was kind of stoked and looking forward to seeing a new amp all together. One more after thought personally I would rather see a single channel version of the rectifier for a stripped down price like the Soldano Avenger rather than a rectifier with even more channels to clutter up the signal thats why the 2 channel rectifier was more popular. Just an opinion and im probably alone on this one but oh well.
