I've got an Echo Park delay and a Boss chorus, but I'm finding it doesn't work all that hot with these pedals. I see the G Major/G Major 2 have "kill dry" modes that are designed to work with parallel effects loops. Has anyone got experience with these models? What are some other units that work well, particularly with delay?

I know you can have the loop modded to serial, but I was kinda trying to avoid that. I like to keep stuff as stock as possible.

I use a g major and love it with my dc2. Our band plays small bars and clubs and the g major/dc combo is great. No noise, no problems, perfect effects, a great noise gate, tuner on the screen, and i use it to switch my channels. I'm never buying another stomp box for effects.

I used a modded ts-9 a line 6 compressor and I have a sonic max in the loop at 100%. I also have the line 6 echo park but I never really liked it in the first place in front or in the loop, but I'm probably going to go serial on the loop eventually.

DC-3 user here.

In front: dunlop cry baby>q-tron>mxr dyna-comp>mxr phase-90>amp.

In the loop: send>tc electronic nova modulator>tc electronic nova delay>roland rack verb (old)>korg rack tuner>return.

Loop at 100%. No issues at all.

DC-3 with-Ibanez Vol. pedal>Visual Sound Rt66>Xotic AC+>TC Nova Delay.I plan to add an old MXR 117 flanger and a boss GE-7 but I have to build a pedal board first.

I use a G-Major II with my DC-10.
I have also converted the Loop to Series.
It's not as versatile as the GT-10, but the FX are really nice!

I might end up getting another G-Major II or one of the earlier models just for effects in the front of the amp.
