I want to know what sound you feel your Mesa Boogie captures best?
Open to all Boogies but I would like you to tell us what kind of music and tones your into.

Dual Recto: Punk Rock / Metal / NUMETAL / Hard Rock / Grunge / etc.
Electra Dyne: Jazz, Blues, Country, Fusion, Pop, Reggae, R&B, surf / Classic Rock / Alternative / Church music.

I primarily use the Recto as a HEAVY rhythm amp. It is great for chugging and riffing.

The Electra Dyne is for everything else. I really appreciate the mind blowing clean tone and the crunch on Vintage Lo and Hi. Vintage Hi is also great for solo / lead tones.

Since I have been changing the tubes up a bit, and really tweaking it at high volumes, I have been getting the classic metallica tone, or very close to it. I use that for my thrash metal, and power metal stuff. When I do my death metal stuff and tune to C or B, I use my recto, since it sounds really thick, and is good for heavy [alm mutes, and power chord stuff.

TriAxis/2:90 - funky clean tones, modern bright open cleans, bluesy semi-clean leads, crunchy chording stuff, crazy modern to late 80's oldschool metal tones. My kinda beast

Souper Souped up Heartbreaker.......
Incredible cleans, from Fender Twin to SRV (Master Volume bypassed) to Hendrix (Wind Cries Mary/We Don't Have to Wait till Tomorrow) to Dada cleans on the Love channel! Beautiful bell like ringing tones with tons of clarity.

Sick distortion tones from the Lust channel.
Think early Incubus, Rush, Van Halen, Faith No More (have to crank the treble for this one), etc.
Super thick and juicy distortion with extreme note clarity!
Almost as much gain as my old Tremoverb (Vintage mode on Red channel), but better because it won't get mushy with the gain on 10!

We play all original stuff ranging from blues to metal and progressive. Kind of like Pat Boone hanging out with Incubus, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Godsmack and Frank Zappa in a mushroom bar in Amsterdam.
