WHAT DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THE V-TWIN RACK PREAMP?!?!?!?!

I was also looking at the V-twin (not the pedal, the rackmount preamp) and first of all, has anybody used it and have any opinions on it, and does it co-exist with the pedal or are they just separate pieces of equipment. Thanks!

I played through the rack not long ago and at one time I owned a V-Twin pedal. IMO, the V-Twin does two things really well with tone coloration available but is too limited for what I wanted. It does have a killer lead tone though....
