What Are You Using For FX In Your Mark IV?

G Major? Rocktron Expression? Pedals?

Trying to decide what I'm going to do about FX and switching my Mark IV.

I've already got a GCP, GCX and a DD-20. But I'm wondering if maybe something like a G Major 2, or Nova System might just be simpler. I'm also tempted to sell the GCX and get a Mini Amp Gizmo so I can use one cable for all the switching. I know I'd lose loops for pedals (unless I use an RJM RG-16) but I'm just trying to get ideas at this stage.

I use a boss dd 20, it's all a mark4 needs, just a little ambience

I've got a Line 6 M13 using the 4 cable method. So far it sounds fantastic and is SO versitile.

I kinda agree with the post above. I hooked up a G force in the effects loop of the mark 4, just a simple reverb, and wow!!! But, I ended up using the differenct effects that the G force had to offer and it was superb through the effects loop. Lush choruses, phasers, delays, even harmonizer.

G force has such a pristine sound, it's just so pure...but, going back to your question, just a good reverb and possibly an EQ in the loop might do the trick. Try using the GEQ for boosts on solos.
