What are Mesa Boogie going to do about the tube scarcity?

Thanks, I'm in the U.S. I think I'll probably just get the greys as they are the closest in the Mesa scale at least. This amp was definitely shipped with the blues though. I'll take another look around but I think the greys would probably be fine. Thanks again, just wanted to confirm. I'll also check the Mark V forum.

I actually work for the last tube manufacturer in the USA. We don’t make any of the tubes guitarists use anymore but I have tried to make the case a couple times. They won’t go for it though because they know they can’t make them as cheeep as the Chinese and they don’t believe people will pay the premium for USA made tubes. I think people would be thrilled to get non Russian or Chinese tubes but I can’t convince them.
