Ok guys, here's a little clip I did, very short but you'll get the point!
Question is... Which Mesa is it???

Let me know what you guys think!

I suggest chosing between Recto, Roadster, Road King :p

It's a Mesa Rectiroadmark v1.4.2

shhh! once the word gets out, the ebay prices on those things are gonna go through the roof.

:D

but it has quadruple rectification....you can keep something that bassa$$ under wraps for long. and you can combine any combination of 6l6, el34 and JFET transistor power section!

its most likely a mix of a triple rec. i know i saw a bunch of clips on their site before TEOH came out that adam made use of a couple of amps (boogies, framus, vht) but the main workhorse was a 3 channel triple. if you see them live adam uses a triple and now a roadster, and joel uses a stiletto and a splawn nitro.

from the mesa site:

Versed in the finer aspects of music harmony and technical riffage, Joel always brings a smile to his seemingly effortless guitar duties in Killswitch Engage. He followed his fellow band mate, Adam to Berkelee College to study music prior to the formation of KSE. Joel is influenced by 80s Thrash and Speed Metal bands but brings the richer textures of chord extensions into the aural assault and guitar harmonies. Though Dual and Triple Rectifiers and Stilettos have been a staple of tone for previous KSE albums, the new Roadster has found a solid home on stage and in the studio since 2006. It is featured on the 2006 release; As Daylight Dies.

haha i should listen to the clip next time... i thought you were just trying to figure out KsE's equipment. Clip sounds pretty good. How long have you had it because i heard some horror stories about the bugera's a few months ago... not how they sounded but the quality. some guy in HC bought one and within a week it blew a cap, got it replaced and then it happened again. if they can resolve the quality issues thats a killer value. have you tried the 333?

BTW, Bugera's adds are nothing short of hilarious. I dont know whose idea that was but they're just so over the top with the marketing.

hehe, yeh dude, I'm currently endorsing them, the little quotes they have and all the motivational stuff, it's kinda kool I guess, like atleast their being fun about it and not just RAH RAH I ARE SERIOUS BRAND :p

I've had this amp for over 5 months now, and I've dropped it 4 or 5 times lol, works fine still dude XD
Cheers

That has a very Gothenburg sound to it... like old inflames. Not bad! :D

Cheers dude, that's what I like to hear! As long as it doesn't sound EXACTLY like it :p
Glad you like :)

well isnt the 6260 suppose to be a through back to the 5150s? In Flames have used them for years so i can definitely see where you're coming from.

although i love to rag on bugera because of their adds and the quality issues ive heard, i really hope they get all the kinks worked because a tube amp like that in the $500 is so killer for young up and comers as well as the hobby guys who down want to or can't throw down a lot of $$. There was a guy who did a demo of the 6260 on youtube about 4 months ago and everything sound pretty **** good. still though they need to stop with the whole soul of valves thing... at least not until they prove themselves.
