want to use only the speakers of a combo

hi, are there any warnings to consider if i want to use my combo only as a speaker cabinet?or should i only connect the speakers' positive and negative power cables to a simple jack input and then plug the power cable from my poweramp into it?thanks

Your combo's speaker cable may not be very long if you decide to use it as a speaker only. You might consider getting another speaker cable and then put the correct termila connectors on it to attach to your speaker. This way you can more easily attach any amp you want provided the ohm selection is on it to match to your combo speaker. Just do not forget to reattach the speaker to the combo amp before firing up the combo's amp after you are done.
