I told GTS (George) this story and he suggested I post it. I only hope we can unite this way if ever needed...
I recently saw the most amazing forum bonding ever on the Warwick bass forum. Some dude had gotten scammed of $3k and the bass was never shipped. The seller was MIA for months. The buyer posted his problem around a bunch of forums and somehow the seller was contacted. The guy made a public apology. To ensure the bass was shipped, someone off the forum immediately went to the seller's house, got the bass, and put it in transit to another forum member who eventually got it to the rightful owner....How's that for helping out!
