Got a Trem-O-Verb head, and I really want a sweet vintage gain sound (i'm thinking the VERY last solo of Shine on your crazy diamond, yummy!)... I already checked the Settings database and there wasn't any for a regular 2 channel dual rec, let alone a Trem. Just throw out some setting suggestions for me, thanks!

To cop that kind of sound you need a single coil guitar. I'm not exactly sure what kind of modes you have on the amp but if you have a pushed mode for your clean that'd be a good place to start. There's very little overall gain in that tone it's just clean headroom giving way to just about to break up. Perhaps boosting a clean channel with an overdrive or something.

I would guess he might also be using a compressor/sustainer.
