Vintage phase pedal playtest!

Hey guys, so here is a quick vid with my favorite vintage phasers. I used them in the context of a song and set them to taste. They are all about the same speed, even though the Small Stone sounds faster. It's just a lot less 'transparent'.

Which one is your favorite?

I prefer the MXRs because they seemed less colored- more subtle, especially the Phase 45. I recently bought a use Phase 45 reissue and love it.

I would say the phase 90. Maybe I am biased though, be cause I use an EVH phase 90.

For that particular arraignment I liked the Phase 90 the best.

I have the new MXR Zakk Wylde phaser and an old block letter MRX phase 90 without the LED light. They sound very similar to each other. The 90 has a potentiometer inside that adjusts the amount of effect it has so I can lessen the amount for a more subtle effect sound.
