Thanks alot!
I get a lot of comments on the tone from this clip and I think a lot of it comes from the guitar itself. It's a solid Maple Custon GMW strat that I picked up a few years ago and it records really well.
Who would've thought that a solid maple (and I mean solid ,body and neck, this thing is all maple) could sound so thick, but it does, and it does thru every amp I put it thru, so I've got to think that alot of the tone is the guitar itself.
Back to the Rectoverb, I almost always run vintage mode when I record, it just seems to record better thru my rig. I've gone back to 6L6's and it sounds even better to me now than it did with the KT-77's.
I'm running an MXR 10 band EQ in the loop as well, and after 4 months
of owning this thing I finally have it dialed in exactly how I like it and I am really loving this amp.
I don't know much about the Keeley, I'm using a modded Boss DS-1 that I got from Joe

Seems to work really well with rectos as a few people over on the 7 string forum swear by them (as do I
)
if you want settings or anything else I used pm me anytime
Nick.
