Do gold covers change the sound or something? Looks cool, the tone sounds fairly standard though... am I missing something? :?

Nah...a couple people had asked me (and kept asking cuz they weren't sure) if the covers changed the tone of the EMGs at all so I said I'd put up a clip/vid next time I do it.

But for some reason, this set of EMGs sound better than the last set I had. Especially the 81.
