Valve/Tube colour coding. Help please.

I want to re-valve my Mk lll simulclass and noticed Mesa boogie valves are colour coded, does anyone know the differences in them ?

People will argue over this, but Mesa says the color code is to match tubes to EACH OTHER (in pairs). In other words, ANY Mesa branded "Green" tube will match ANY OTHER Mesa branded "Green" tube. Tonal variations are in your head. (Prepare for the onslaught of conflicting but totally subjective opinions).

Conduct a search for "color" in the tubes forum of the Boogie Board. Pay close attention to the outer sockets of any simulclass amp when using all 6L6's. 8)
