This may kind of sound like a dumb question to be asking you guys.

But I was just wondering when facing the back panel of the amp, could any you guys tell me where about's the V1,V2,V3,V4,V5 preamp tubes slot is located in the Mesa Dual Rectifier Rectifier 3 channel head.

Thanks guys.

if you are looking at it from behind it's left to right V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, just behind the power tubes in silver colored covers.

There's a diagram in the back of the manual that shows the preamp tubes positions and the power amp tubes and tube rectifiers.

Right so in other words the V1 preamp slot is located on the side of the amp where the five speaker jacks are located, is that correct

And I know that the manual has a diagram that explains where each tube is located on the amp, but I find the diagram too confusing to follow correctly.

the V1 is the first tube on the left side of the amp if you are looking from the back.

I'm not really sure how the diagram could be confusing. if you hold the paper length wise it's basically impossible to not find V1 through V5

okay I get you now man,but what about the four power tubes does it matter what order they are positioned in the amp?

Alright thank man

Oh and I recently emailed Doug from Dougtubes regarding the location of the V1 preamp tube, and he replied back to me and told me that the V1 is closest to the input jack on the front of the amp would this be right.

I know this is going a bit extreme here, but is there any chance someone could post a screenshot, showing where the V1 slot is located.

Right I had a look at the manual, judging by the manual it appears that the V1 preamp tube is located nearest to the rectifier tubes, could you confirm if I'm right or wrong saying this?
