Hey guys,
I currently have a mesa triple rec, but am after a solid state amp (possibly the Roland JC120) that i could use for smaller practise sessions where i don't need the head and 4x12.

Has anyone had experience using the V twin preamp with a JC120 or similar amp? Are you able to get similar tones to a rectifier? I also have an MXR EQ and an overdrive pedal that i use to tighten up my rectifier.
Do you think the v twin / jc120 combo would work good?

Any help would be great, cheers.

have a V-twin and used it with my Roland keyboard amps, gets me a good solo channel sound from my Mark IV, The V-twin works well with clean amps, and if you EQ you can get close to the rectifier tone, or you might overdrive it more than I do and get there as well.
