My V-Twin has been acting up lately: the blues/solo channels have VERY low output. They're not completely dead - I can still hear the sound if I turn the master volume all the way up. Once in a while they start working again, but that never lasts more than a few minutes. The clean channel is OK. I've tried to replace the tubes but that didn't solve the problem.

Any ideas on this?

Hi, I just joined and have the same v-twin problem - I opened up the beast and found that a circuit board locating screw had come loose and lodged under the board between casing and maybe a significant component. LEDs light up ok but no audio for blues/solo (dammit) - looks like previous owner had put in dodgey screws (must have been a drummer).
Did you get your pedal fixed. Sorry that I have only picked up your message a year old. Cheers

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem with my Bottle Rocket. When it's on I get no sound at all unless I turn the output right up and it's very faint. I've tried replacing the tubes and it didn't work. I've opened it up and couldn't see any loose components.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be?

sorry, but you got give it up to a mesa repair guru - unless you are sweet with electronics and can get the parts - I fricked around with mine with no avail & finally bit the bullet - off to a registered repair dude, $254 AUD later :( it works fine

I just saw the guy that I bought the pedal from, he was on 'Australia's Got Talent' & didnt get far - must have been karma, but maybe it was his roadies who were the real culprits.
