Back in 98, I bought a V-Twin pedal from a friend. I've used it ever since and it's been great. However, the knobs have given me trouble from the beginning. Another friend had one and the knobs had pointers... the knobs on mine look like chrome Telecaster knobs with a dot drilled on the top showing the brass beneath. This dot is hard to see from a standing position, especially since I've aged. Does anyone know a place to get different knobs? Which ones fit? Thanx!

I guess this is a dumb question... huh? Ok... what have people done to make the knob setting easier to read on their V-Twin or any pedal for that matter? Thanx!

Why don't you contact Mesa Boogie for a set of Pointer Knobs. They are also used on other Amp Models. I'm sure they're still made and can't be that expensive! My V-Twin has the Pointer Knobs but yours looks like the knobs from the Simul 2:90 amp models which I also have and must be an early model V Twin before they changed the knobs!

Drop some "white out" (correction fluid) or black shoe polish (or paint maybe....a neon color?) into the drilled indents (if they are like the ones I've seen, anyway)

Good luck! :D

I did exactly the same thing to mine, Though it's not really that much of an improvement.

I'm thinking Maybe Try to get some of the Black ones for the 20/20 amp and put them on it, same knob only black.

I also have the same issue with the Rackmount Version V-twin I have.
