Should I be worried or is this just a warning that the bias switch is in the less common position?

BTW, It sounds great with EL34s!

Jepp!

I had the chance to A/B the stock 6L6 with seven or eight different types of poweramp tubes in our shop...

STR 447 did the best job!

I'm running a pair of STR 447s and a pair of JJ E34Ls. I'd like to get a matched quad so I can run 45w and 10w without any worries. Apparently it uses the right pair of tubes in 45w and the left in 10w or something. You can see what it does if you turn the lights out and watch as they come online.

That light is there to let you know the bias is set to EL-34's. I've got those nos 450's in my FIVE and it's pretty awesome. I havn't had the urge to put the 6L6's back in yet!

The tone of the amp seems alot more balanced with these tubes in place.
