I saw that amp. It was a simul satellite. It has STR454 6L6's and STR415 or 417 EL34's in it (can't remeber exactly). They are asking 650.00 for it. It is a rackmount version. It looks pretty beat up from what I remember. I don't need any more power amps, so I didn't spend time with it...
$650 seems a bit high, especially if it's beat up (although they are getting harder to find). I picked one up off of ebay in a new headshell last year to pair with my Mark IV. It works great for a stereo Mark IV setup, but it impressed me by itself as well. It has a very simple preamp so it works as a stand alone guitar amp. It's got a foot switchable boost built in and can get some very decent blues dirt. It also takes pedals very well and you can footswitch the EQ in and out.
I actually used the Simul-Sat for quite a while as a stand-alone rig using a TS10 tubescreamer Classic, a Marshall Guv'nor and an Ibanez Tube King in conjunction with the Tonebone Loopbone. This amp was VERY pedal friendly due to its simple preamp structure. Mine was a 1x12 combo and made for a very powerful, portable (O.K., it did weigh a ton as usual) reliable rig. $650 for a beat rack version is too steep, though, IMHO. Z
