Ugh I hate morons

I went to pick up a mesa Roadready 412 today. It took the guy 4 days to check what speakers were in it, and he said they were EV 12Ls. I spend an hour to get there, and the first thing I notice is ribs on the cones of all 4 speakers. I thought maybe it was a recone job.

Then I say to my dad who went with me, let's lift it on 3, to see just how heavy it is.

I could have lifted it by myself no problems. It was LIGHT.

Anyway, this guy seems to have bulls****ed a lot. He couldn't find a screwdriver in his whole practice space, which is just weird to me. I wanted to check the backs of the speakers.

Big waste of time, it seems to me.

that sucks. Those roadready cabs are great. They are a beast to move though.

Thanks, but I think I'll be making another 112 thiele, and two 115 thieles instead now. Found two 15Ls for $50 each.

Maybe the fact that the guy was a moron was meant to be...

Also, this thing seemed kind of... small. I could have grabbed both handles easily.
