Both are the ultimate representations of what a C+ collector looks for, and at relatively competitive prices.

The only drawback is that they are not "original" C+'s. For collector value sake, it's a drawback. However, they have all the same tone and specs as a factory C+.

They don't have export power transformers, so I can't see how they're really the "ultimate" IIC+ as far as a collector would be concerned.

Having an export tranformer makes a C+ "THE" most valueable C+ as far as collectors are concerned.
Please explain.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I think we are on the same page here. I think that the amps the OP showed us on eBay are not the "holy grail" C+ because they do not have the export transformer. I would think the "holy grail" C+ as far as a collector is concerned would be a simul/rev/eq/ev/export/hardwood/str415s.

But tone is tone, collectors be damned.
There are times I prefer the modded 60/100 C to C+ amp over the original fully loaded Simul C+. Now once I get an ABY switch......

The Lehle is some of the best money that I've spent on gear, no doubt.
