I have two Tremoverbs that I connect to a TCElectronic G-Major in stereo.

I am seriously thinking about using the amps independent of each other.

This way I can have four different voicings or amp sounds from two amp that have two channels each.

Here is my dilemma.

How do I use the G-Major with both amps in mono?

Do I take the send from amp one into the return of amp two and then the send of amp two to the return of the G-Major and the send of the G-Major to the return of amp one?

That just sounds crazy to me.

I run a Radial JX-2 A/B/Y switch to both amps in the front.

My setup is below.

So this way I can A or B them. I just want to be able to use the G-Major with both amps independent of each other.

Thanks all.

I think you need something like a Voodoo Labs GCX. This will allow you to treat the preamps and the power amps as 4 separate units. You can then put the G-Major in another loop on the GCX.

If you look at the diagrams on page 8 of the manual here: http://www.voodoolab.com/manuals/gcx_manual.pdf
It should give some idea of how to do it. You can use your JX-2 to switch between preamps. So you have something like:

Guitar - JX2 - preamp 1 or preamp 2 - GCX - G-Major - GCX - power amp 1 or power amp 2

Theoretically you should be able to run it in mono or stereo (if you put the G-Major in 2 loops on the GCX)

Just don't ask me how to do the 4-cable method with the GCX and the G-Major!
(although I'm sure it's possible  )

just like "Onepiece" said.
you´ll need a loop-system like the GCX or something any loop-system with min. 3 audio loops and 4 jacks per loop (in, send, return, out)

wired like this: guitar -> loop 1 input; loop 1 send -> amp 1 input; amp 1 send -> loop 1 return; loop 1 output -> loop 2 input; loop 2 send -> amp 2 input; amp 2 send -> loop 2 return; loop 2 output -> g-major input (mono); g-major output (mono) -> loop 3 input; loop 3 send -> return of amp 1; loop 3 output -> return of amp 2

so you don´t need the Radial anymore for this setup and you can toggle between the preamps and the poweramps. g-major is only mono in this setup.
if you want to have the option of completely bypass the g-major, hook the g-major in another loop before you go to the power amps.
you still need a stereo cabinet or two cabinets because each head needs a cabinet!
