After playing the amp in all modes for an hour or so it developed a hiss that only happens in Tweed mode. Is there a tube that only comes into the signal path for Tweed mode...or some other component unique to Tweed mode that could make the hiss?

A little update here for anyone who finds themselves new to the amp like I am and has similar symptoms...
There is nothing wrong with the amp.
I had added the AxeFx in a 4 cable method and although I had all the input and output levels of the loop and the AxeFx balanced pretty well for unity gain apparently not enough combined with having the Channel 1 Master too high relative to the Output level so that the Tweed mode in channel 1 was the only one that would complain. I dropped the Channel Master and raised the main Output level to bring the overall levels back up then retweaked the in's and out's of the AxeFx and the MarkV's loop and Voila! clean Tweed mode.

It seems that, at least with the AxeFx in the loop, the main Output likes to be higher than the Channel Masters, get them too close, or worse, the Channel Master 'pushing' more than the Output, and things get dirty in a bad way.

This amp is a beast and a sweetheart and so much in between. Loving every minute of it. I'm hearing stuff out of Channel 1 alone that people pay upwards of $2000 for!

And that's only the beginning.... For me this continues to be an amazing journey into the Universe of TONE!

Your the man bottle rocket. I knew it was associated with my effects unit. I put jp 5751 in v6 to try & tame it. Rolled tubes everywhere. Then searched this forum, found this post first. Problem solved. This amp makes me snoopy dance.
