Well got Dougs Mesa "Cocktail as he call em" as my Mark V feedbacks like crazy so it must be a bad preamp tube as I fiddled with all the masters and overall output and still horrible at band volumes. and this Mark V was brand new so I dunno if it came with a bad preamp tube or it blew or something in transit to the store. Also wanted to try out the EL34's as I liked em in my VH4's I used to have. Will install them tomorrow or Sunday. Will give ya an update how it sounds. Thanks.
