Trying to sell Subway Rocket with non-Mesa tubes

... is this hurting my chances of a sale? I see Subways going for $500 + on Ebay on a regular basis. My local tech recomended I re-tube my Subway before I sell it, and he put Peavy EL84s in it. You guys know your Mesas - was this a bad move on my part? Should I re-tube it again with Mesa tubes?

I'll just say if you use stock Mesa or Groove Tubes with #4 to #7 rating it will not void the warranty.
