Trying to get an early Kinks and Who tones

Any suggestions for settings on a Triple Rectifier to get that early vintage Kinks tone (ALL DAY AND ALL OF THE NIGHT, YOU REALLY GOT ME, etc.) and that early Who tone (MY GENERATION, I CAN'T EXPLAIN, SUBSTITUTE)? I'm using a Les Paul Standard with dual humbuckers and an American Strat with stock single-coil pickups.

Any suggestions appreciated.

If it's a three channel, channel 1 on pushed or channel two on raw will get you close. I prefer channel 1 for 60s, non-fuzzy sounding distortions on my Dual. Dave was using a Vox AC30, so turn down the bass a bit and make sure the mids and highs are appropriately dialed in. Pete used a Bassman for My Generation and on a lot of early songs, so channel 1 pushed will be close.
