Hey two tracks from my bands debut cd are online now

Irish black/doom metal.

The tracks were recorded with a Triple Rectifier and a 6505 a track of each amp per side so four tracks in total.

Let me know what you guys think.

Great tone mate

Can you give us some info on the recto settings/modes, cabs and mics used?

cheers

Sounds good!

The guitars could have backed off a bit though and allowed the vocals to come through more, as I felt they were a bit quiet.

Thanks Again for the good feedback!

The settings i can remember are Channel 3 on the Dual Rec boosted with a Ts808. I cannot remember the exact settings. Mics uses were a Shure Sm57(two used with sounds combined) and the cab used was a Recto Oversized Slant.
These days im using Channel 2 with
Presence: 4oclock
Master: 10.30 o clock
Gain:2.30oclock
Bass:9oclock
Mid:12oclock
Treble:3.30oclock

Boosted with a mxr 10-band eq IN FRONT of the amp. Sounds pretty close to the tone on this i think,

and i agree the vocals are mixed lower in that particular track to let the atmosphere take control the vocals are louder in our other tracks. Thanks again
