I bought pretty recently a triple rectifier 2 channel and I was wondering about 2 things:
1. whats the difference between the rectifier select: vacuum tubes
and silicon diodes?......... it is on vacuum tubes so can I just switch to the silicon without making any change on the amp?
2. also what can I learn about the amp, reading the serial number? can I see the year it was made?
