My amp has been working fine all along, tonight I turned it on and everything was fine until the light for my channels went out. Now when the amp is on it looks as if no channel is selected and I cant do anything with it, I tried all the switches on the footswitch and the channel selector on the back of the head, I cant get anything out of the amp at all. Anyone have any ideas????

Sorry to hear about your amp, is it under warranty? I have a multi watt triple that I've spent a lot of time modding and experimenting with, if that's what you have I would be willing to take some readings for comparison or try and duplicate the problem with mine. Just finished chasing a 5 volt regulator channel switching issue that killed the foot switch operation, but the back selector knobs and external switching still worked. Are you comfortable with and understand the risks of working around a powered circuit if volt measurements are necessary?

If you have a multi watt it's a busy circuit board, what are all your symptoms?
Jewel light on?
Fuse good?
Tubes lit?
Do you hear relays clicking when you power up the amp or switch off standby?
Do you hear the slight hum of the amp while in standby?
Does that hum change when switched off standby?
Any change between diode and tube rec modes?
Any change between bold or spongy?
Any change between 50&150 watt setting?
Smells?
Etcetera...

When I power it up, the jewel light turns on, but there is no clicking sound of the relays like there usually was. No difference with any switches at all. Tubes all light like normal. No smells or weird sounds from the head at all. No change at all when switching standby on or off. The channel lights on the face do not light at all or any of the lights on my footswitch. Its an older 150 watt model only, if this helps at all. Seems like a relay not functioning maybe? With no clicks and not going into a channel.... When I turned the head on, everything was normal for about 30 seconds, the channel light was on for channel 2 and as I picked up my guitar I could hear the lights in it flickering and then they went out and I've had nothing since. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Is you amp the 3channel triple? If so, Sounds like you lost the supply voltage for your LEDs/relays in my multi-watt it's 12 vdc, should be the same for yours if 3 channel. It should still work in channel 1 though, unless a channel selection relay is also stuck, or you have a mute circuit problem too. Try plugging into your effects loop return and see if you get anything out. Unfortunately, this is probably not going to get fixed by a technical tap.
