well it looks in the pic. to be dated 1/95,,you dont see many chrome tripels,it sure would go great with my chrome dual but i have a black triple and i must say i realy like it!,the trick is to wear ear plugs!! :lol:

'95, I see it now (hard to on a 2" Blacberry screen). Is this a great deal, or the going rate? I have never seen a blackaface triple.

This is a great deal, especially for eBay. I'd expect $1200.

It's possible the triples are less desirable than the duals to to higher wattage and cinreased re-tubing costs..but I doubt it.

That went pretty cheap. There is a guy selling on in SD on CL that has been sitting for months at $1250 including a road case. Granted it is the black chassis and Chrome plate but still.

well i think they are less desireable like you said ,it cost me close to 300$ to retube mine,but i got the mesa labeled 454 6L6"s and preamp tubes ,like a dumb ass i cut the rubber band off the the one that goes into v1 ,,but its quiet anyway,mine is a 97 g revision,i wonder if thats an f??my dual is an f ,,and the triple seems to be voiced with lottts more bass to my ears,but maybe its cause of the extra wattage?all in all though i use both with a ABY box and it is truely a siiick!!sounding rig :twisted: HAIL MESA
