If I have the trim set to clean with the trim knob turned all the way to bypass I still get a volume drop. Is this supposed to happen? I assumed it was actually bypassed.

I have had this happen with the Volume(gain) set at about the 1:00 position. You might try switching the trim back to "normal" and use your guitar volume to clean up the sound.

I actually do not use the trim knob. Just wondering if this was normal since it happened when I was testing it.
Thanks

The trim knob seems to be less effective in the 90 watt mode compared to the 45 watt setting.. the volume difference seems more off sink in 45 watt and needs more adjusting where as I never notice a difference in 90 watt…. Anybody else experience this? Does this seem right or is it just me?

it seems to be very dependent on the relationship between the master and the volume... its much more effective at higher overall volume levels at bedroom levels it doesn't really work that well
