Another recording. Made it this afternoon and tried to get that early Metallica sound. The first riff is a litlle bit off(first chords need to be F#, but I played an E). I'll fix that tomorrow(can't record anymore, too late).

I think about the only difference is that 'tallica's has a little more "airyness" and I'd bet that's due to the recording not being digital back then. Great tone, a couple of wrong notes in the beginning, but no biggie. Good stuff man, keep it up!

and to think people are chasing a metallica mod for their IV's when the tone is already there...

Dude, that was better than Metallica! (which isn't saying much, but hopefully it means something to you) :)

I didn't know the church lady was still jamming :D

sorry the midi BT did have a church lady vibe! Your tone was close, I agree with the "airyness" which could have somewhat to do with the post mix..

Great Job, thanks for posting.

Thanks guys!
The kirk part is cool indeed.

I think that's because I recorded 4 rythm tracks. I have made 2 new mixes with two tracks, one with the rythm tracks where I used the AJFA QEG, and one where I used the MoP QEQ.(Used two different settings on the first mix)
