Triaxis vers.1. vs. vers.2.

Heres my question about the Triaxis Vers.1. Vers.2.
I own the first vers.1. and wondered what advantages i would get "tone wise" if i upgrade to vers,2. Some say vers.2 is no better sound wise apart from the midi real time changes with vers.2. What do you guys think?

Good question...I bought mine off Ebay some years back and by the serial number it was a version1 but after reading these post here I found out that it's a ver2. The original owner had it upgraded. Unless I'm doing something wrong I find no use for the Lead2 (Red).
