Hi

I'm interestd in buying a triaxis 2/90 rig and since I'm not to familiar with the triaxis, could anyone explain to me what the phat mod is and what is the difference between that and the non phat sound vise ?

Also, is the phat mod reversable, could a phat mod unit be reverted to the version one ?

Thanx

Geiri

Ok did some research and know that the phat mod is the rectifier circuitry. So the question is which sounds better phat or non phat. I prefer the marks over rectos anyday

It depends of your ears. You may or may not like the phat mod.
But it affect only LD1 red (recto sound) so if you like the mark better you probably will use LD1 green and yellow and Ld2 modes.

Thank you.

So it really doesn't matter which version I get since I will be able to get all those mark sounds the triaxis is known for ?

Exactly. LD1 red is a separated circuitry.
And even if I'm no great fan of the LD1 red sound, I've found that a little sound research changing tubes make the LD1 red usable in my sense.
