Hi guys,

Can someone please explain what exactly is the difference between the normal output and the recording output of the Triaxis?
I have a Tri with new JJ tubes and a Mesa 20/20.
My problem is that when I connect the normal output of the Tri to the 20/20 I get a very fizzy sound on the LD modes, and I have only been able to dial out some on LD2 yellow.
However when connecting to the recording out of the Tri there is no fizz, but the sound is not as alive.
Is there any thing wrong with my Triaxis?I have tried using lower gain/treble/presence but though it helps a bit it's still not right.

Thanx

Just came across your post. I have the same issue with my TA and 2:50, the record out sounds better than the regular outputs. They have an "amp/speaker sim" built in for direct recording or straight to a pa. It sounds awesome like that, sometimes I use the record out straight to the 2:50, you can try eq-ing the highs out to eliminate the fizz.
