Hi mates.
I found a used TA in a local music store. The serial is something like T-45..(don't remember the last 2 numbers).
The LD1 red volume was significant lower than the other modes - The gain was ok though.
I've had to increase the master almost 3 numbers to equal the others. The salesman told me that it was from an exchange and this problem was from the beginning.
Do you think that is faulty or it's a tube issue? any thoughts?
Thanks

I haven't played my triaxis for a while, memory is a bit hazy. If you already own it, might be use to put new tubes in them to eliminate the problem of tubes. But I know Lead 1 red sounds slightly lower than the rest of the modes, could be due to the less midrange emphasis. If I get a chance, i'll hook up my triaxis and let you know, unless other folks already might have answered your question before i get to play my unit.

Thanks for your input gummx97.
I do not own the TA but it would be nice to grab this specific because it's at a bargain price.
I've played the TA before in rehearshalls but never was be able to dial them.
I don't think that is natural for the LD1 red to have lower volume.
Maybe an owner of TA can help me.

I played a used Triaxis today and it also had much lower volume on LD1.

Yes it is lower.....My Lead 2 Master settings are usually set at 3.5 or 3.0 depending on the dynamic voice. To equal there volume my Lead 1 Red Master has to be set at either 4.5 or 5.0....also depending on the DV.

The one I tried it also needed a lot more bass on LD1 red as well as volume to be as full as the other LD1's. It actually sounded like something was wrong. All the other modes sounded great.
