Triaxis issue 2.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 2.0

howdy.

i was just playing through my Triaxis this weekend adding some new patches in, and noticed an issue that i haven't seen before...

while i was editing a patch, the Triaxis would suddenly lock up, then display 2.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 as if it was just turned on, then it would resume back to where the original patch was, before i made any changes.

This has me wondering if there might be a battery dying inside that needs replacing?

is this an easy thing if so, or do i have to bring it to the Mesa store?

any other idea's what it could possibly be causing this? it has happened several times in the last few days.

The triaxis does this when you edit a patch, hit save one time only and then try to change patches or edit more commands. Go ahead try it:

Go to a preset

Hit the "Entr" button once (watch the presetl number flash)

Now try to change gain, patches, or any other parameters (as soon as you hit another function the channel number stops flashing which would lead you to believe that you saved a patch)

It should reset everytime



Basically, make sure you hit "Entr" twice

If the Triaxis resets without making changes or doesn't save your changes then I would first replace the battery inside.


I bet that Mesa knows about this glitch but has zero motivation to do anything other than build and repair the triaxis preamp.
