Triaxis control HELP

Hi I'm using a rocktron midi mate with the triaxis, and now want to use the continuous controller so what do you folks use to hook into the midimate?? I'm aware it has to be a volume pedal of sorts......HELP

Roland makes some pedals that should work with it but i don't know what model works best.

After research the best for the job seems to be the Alesis F2, looked at the roland/boss stuff but it's very flimsy plastic and more expensive!! the F2 is Aluminium and cheaper.
