TriAxis - can be used with headphones???

Could the RECORD output of the TriAxis be used as a headphone out??? Or would the signal be too hot?

Never tried, but it's not an amplified signal path so it may work but you won't really have a normal volume control.

You can run it through a mixer first, then to the headphones. It doesn't sound that great though IMHO.

Yeah, I read some posts regarding the TA's direct signal and not a lot of people were that excited. Well, I found a better alternative for late night jammin' - phones out from my BOSS GT-6, cab&mic sim! Sure it's stiff and lifeless as an SS model should be but it's pretty good :mrgreen:

I probably should have got a palmer speaker emulator. I ended up with a DIY iso cab. I had some small ones but I couldn't get two mics in the box so I made a larger one. I use these as extra load boxes when I don't want to use a mixer/phones. Ah, the things we do for tone..
