Triaxis and 20/20 rig sounding very dull...help

Have the above rig running with a g-force in between the two into recto 4 12.

Thing is of late all the Highs have gone bye byes, and sounds like there is a blanket over the cab.. Even with the presence way up on the power amp.... New to me this one!

The tri was retubed 2 years ago using nos from Brent Jesse, including the mighty Mullard long plate halo getter from late 50's and they all seem to be ok... The power amp has jj,s in it....

I,m gona do some tube rolling today but in the meantime if anyone has come across this prob, or has any idea,s I would be very grateful .

Isolate the problem. Your setup has too many variables. Take a known good preamp and run it into the 20/20, or run an MP3 player into it. Could be the Tri, the Gforce, the 20/20, or even the cables, plugs or jacks.
