Hi I am thinking about purchasing a triaxis and a 2:90 power amp. All i was wondering is do you need anything else to get a screaming lead tone without the need for external overdrive pedals? I have played through a boogie rec head before and have to say was a little disappointed at the lack of sustain when trying to solo. Don't get me wrong though the low end crunch was amazing.

What I am trying to find out is if the triaxis and the 2:90 work in the same way?

Any help before i buy is greatly appreciated as there are no stores around here with any in for me to try! :(

cheers,

Adam

The triaxis had more gain than u ever need.No pedals for extra gain.At least for the ld2 modes. Actually i liked the rectifier mode on the TA than the real recto head amp.

Cheers for the reply mate much appreciated. I am moving house so hopefully finances permitting after that the boogies will be purchased. :)

Many thanks
