So the send pot on the back actually controls my volume. In otherwords, if the send is all the way down, no signal...but if I use the amp with the loop activated, I also get this wierd noise after I stop, kinda like a reverb tank getting hit. Any thoughts??

The Send knob does control the volume of the whole amp when the loop is engaged, that's normal. Essentially the Send is the pre-loop level, the Loop Active Master is the post-loop level. You have to balance the two to get the right level to your effects unit and the same final volume as with the loop off (if you want that - you can also use it to turn down the whole amp).

Do you have any effects in the loop, or is it just making the noise when the loop is engaged with no FX in it? If no effects, try replacing the V4 tube (furthest from the input jack in the front row of four preamp tubes) - it may have gone microphonic.

Im a moron. I did check it out, and it is only when the loop is on. I do not use anything in the loop. For some reason this loop (tverb) doesn't take pedals as well as when I had a 2ch recto (i would run guitar into digi xp100-ns2-tu2 to amp w/dly,cho,phase,trem through fx loop). The tverb just sounds better w/pedals in front. Unless the serial mod is worth it.
To be more specific, the manual swelling w/vol knb didnt have the dry signal come through as well. I did work long with diff send and return levels. Any Tverb users have a problem with their loops?

That is your answer. Mesa uses tube-buffered effects loops, and we all know tubes can go bad.

Your reverb "clunk", could be the inherent sound of a trem equipped guitar, like your CE. It's the spring noise. I kinda like it!

Both guitars have a tremolo block. I keep the strat in standard drop d
The PRS is a half step down, same tuning. I mean technically I have "hardtail" on both gtrs.
I like being In tune :)
