One of the legendary Mesa/Boogie combos, taken from the Rectifier lineage and with a lush Tremolo and the famous Blues Channel. I'm the second owner, and am selling it after many years because I have just downsized to a smaller Mesa Transatlantic setup. I have never had an amp that has so much pure tone and versatility, and it will be missed. I'm asking $1,000 plus shipping, but a local (Seattle area) sale is obviously preferred.
Four channels in all: Clean, Vintage (Marshall), Blues (Fender but with more depth), and Modern (Boogie). This is the ONLY Mesa amp that features the Blues channel. Like its cousin the Rectoverb, there is an onboard reverb tank and a tube-driven effects loop that you can use to get even more saturation.
I replaced all tubes with the genuine Mesa/Boogie parts a few years ago, and there's maybe 100 low-power studio-only hours on them since then. I also replaced the stock speaker cable with Kimber cable. This not only makes the amp sound more airy and open, but it's also slightly longer than the stock cable so you can easily put another head on top of the cabinet and use it instead. The original cable and channel switching pedal are included.
