I have one with a smaller logo and the serial number is Serial #: R-0083xx with an attached power cord
I have read that all Trem-O-Verbs are Revision G
I also have read that some TOVs have a lot of LDR issues, might this be one of them? What is expected if I need to replace all of them? Are there any updates or "recalls"
What is the approximate year is it?

LDR problems on these amps are very common and generally speaking, if you call Mesa and you send your amp in, they dont charge you for the replacement parts.

Yes there is updates for some of the early Tverbs. Im will be sending mine in to the factory as mine has major LDR issues with the switching.

Does anyone know if Mesa will cover the repair using you local authorized tech?

I was hoping to avoid shipping mine.Channel clonning dosen't seem to work on mine, I can live without that for now.

I was hoping for the same thing, but it is pretty cool that Mesa is stepping up to the plate and doing something about it, especially considering it is a 15+ year old amp. :D

Wow, call it serendipity. A recent post about an older amp that sounds like it's doing what mine is. I also own a Tremoverb 100 watt head. She's my baby, gold tweed front, flawless shape. My bet is she'll be a collector's item some day...anyway, just bought a gem of a Les Paul and was so pumped to plug in to my Tverb...when out of the blue, massive volume drop across all channels and modes with a hideous sputtering, crackling sound. Tried new 6l6's, 12ax7's, even the driver or phase inverter. Oddly, after keeping her on full power (not standby) for around 20-25 minutes, she's back to normal. Do you all think this could also be LDR's? or does it sound like a recap issue?

LDR problems are not just for T-verbs. If you have a mid-90's Mesa with issues you should have it checked. I have a Mark IV from about 1996-7 that had to have all 24 LDR's replaced. I took it to my local mesa repair guy and Mesa provided the parts but I paid for labor. (Gotta love a company that will do warranty work on a 15 year old amp.)

I was having all kinds of weird issues including strange noises, volume drops, and the LED's were randomly blinking or not working.

It's like a new amp since i got it fixed.

For anyone interested, my particular issue turned out to be a blown (2 watt?) resistor in the power tube chain circuit, and a leaky cap in the tremolo circuit. One month and $120 later, she and Les Paul are straight gettin' it ON! sounds better than she ever has. Man, I love this amp.

What can an owner of TOV expect with failed LDR's?

I am not familiar with this component and what they do or don't do when they fail.
