any t-verb owners out there happen to know what the serial number range is for the t-verbs that got the bad batch of LDR's? i'm awaiting the arrival (ebay) of my t-verb combo and wasn't aware of this possible problem until now. i've had some bad luck w/the last couple of amps i bought on ebay. hoping this purchase doesn't keep with that trend...

I do not think there was a batch.
All things have a life, some things are die faster than other.
The amps built very well. The problem is rare.
It is a good thing to know about if you have a problem.
It is used in the switching and burns out.
Like I said the problem is very rare.
You are worrying about nothing, but I can see how you feel with your average. I would be more worryed about the tubes being past there best when buying used.

Mine is R-002900. Like I said in the other thread, the tech at Mesa told me they bought a bad batch. If it is a RARE problem, it stands to reason it would find me......lol

Hope that helps, Mike

mine is near 4500 and when i bought it used it appeared to have had ldr work done (unsuccessful) so i sent it to mesa and they replaced the entier board. mostly because the tech that tried to fix it screwed it all up
