Tone Tubbies

Anyone here try tone tubbies in your Boogie? Specifically a MK4, but any review in a boogie would be much appreciated.

Please include you setup, and the style of music you play so I have a frame of reference.

I'm using a Tone Tubby Ceramic on my Vox Night Train. I used to use it on my Studio .22 Plus. A guitar amp technician recommend to me a Tone Tubby Ceramic and Alnico combo.

So for EL84 amps, I sure like them.

But for others, its hit and miss. I know one guitarist who hates them claimming they're hi-freq. robbers. Then he admits his former drug use and his current loud metal band probably made him hi-freq tone deaf.

Then another guitarist who tried anywhere from 60 to 70 guitar speakers claims he keeps going back to Tone Tubby ceramics.
