This might not be "correct", but will it harm my amp head..?

I am planning on doing some acoustic projects in the near future. I would like to run the signal from my acoustic guitar pick-up (aftermarket style pickup, not a built in pickup) to my Mesa Roadster Head when I am doing live work. I know this might not be the "correct" way to go about reinforcing an acoustic in a live setting, but that doesn't concern me in the least. What does concern me is damaging my Roadster head by doing this..... Is there anything to the worry about, or am I in the clear on this one?

No problem other than you well need to do a very different EQ on the amp. No damage well happen to anything.

I did this with my 12 string acoustic and fender twin for years.

Want to have some real fun ... do some gain stuff.
Or better yet use a fuzz box.

Chorus is a usable sound.

I LOVE that trick! You can really get some aggressive & percussive sounds running your acoustic through an amp like that.....and come up with some really original results. (notice no one is saying "good acoustic sounds"....more like unique/odd sounds....which I love).

Just be careful with your speakers. Might just be my ignorance, but got a little crazy with my old LSC and after doing an outdoor gig, my speaker had a "Fuzzy" sound. Loud bass transients I guess. Post your results!
