this has been a work in progress for a little over a year...
i work on it from time to time, this is the closest mix i've done that seems to capture it.
i'm sure i've got some issues with low end, but i'm still working it.
mix comments are handy.


Rig is 1981 Mark2B, 60W w/GEQ, short head, thru avatar 1x12 vintage closed back, heritage celestion g12H, blended with Palmer PDI-09 direct.

Listening as we speak.

the mix sounds nice and open and airy. Toms on the drums sound great.
The melodies are the best part imo. The vocals arent the best part, but theres nothing wrong with them.

the drums, were done in sony acid.
not sure where the samples came from, but they were 16 bit, so not bad.

glad you like the melodies, i spend a goodly amount of time getting those worked out.
my singing, well, it is what it is!

I used my Weber Mass Lite on this recording, attenuating quite a bit of volume, but still able to tame the feedback off the cabinet.....
